AgentBuggy

Privacy policy

Your notes are yours. Here is where they go, what is stored, and what you control.

Effective date: September 10, 2026. AgentBuggy is operated by CMM Prime LLC. Contact: hello@swipebetter.ai.

What this policy covers

This policy covers agentbuggy.com and the current AgentBuggy iPhone app and Mac companion. AgentBuggy is a notes-to-Codex workflow using your own Mac and connected services. It does not currently provide a centrally hosted AgentBuggy user account or cloud workspace.

If you used the earlier AgentBuggy preview with hosted accounts, see the archived privacy notice for that preview. This policy describes the new Mac-connected app; it does not mean that an earlier account or its server records have been deleted.

Information and where it is stored

InformationPurpose and location
Notes, screenshots, updates, projects, approvals, and resultsSaved on your iPhone. When paired, synchronized with a database on your Mac so both devices can show and manage the work.
Approved prompts and related contextSent through your Mac to OpenAI Codex when you approve AI work. This may include screenshots, previous results, follow-up context, and relevant code from the project you connect.
Pairing credentials and device identifiersUsed to authenticate your devices and track the connection. The iPhone stores its connection key in Keychain. The Mac stores credentials locally.
Push token and note identifierUsed by your Mac and Apple Push Notification service to deliver optional questions/results alerts. Notification text is generic rather than the contents of your note.
Work logs, code changes, and task historyRetained on your Mac and, as applicable, in your Codex account or a review branch/pull request in your connected repository.
Support communicationsInformation you choose to send us so we can answer a request. Do not send connection keys, passwords, or unnecessary sensitive notes.
Website requests and appearance choiceYour browser sends network information such as an IP address to the website host. This site stores your light/dark preference in local storage. It has no advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts.

AI sharing is your choice

Writing a note does not approve AI work. Tapping OK for AI authorizes the disclosed content to be processed by OpenAI Codex. Your Mac uses the Codex account you have connected. OpenAI's applicable terms, privacy policy, retention settings, and account controls govern its processing; AgentBuggy cannot promise that your account has a particular model-training or retention setting. Review those settings and avoid submitting secrets or information you are not authorized to share.

We do not receive a central copy of your local notebook just because you use the app. Information you voluntarily send to support is different. Connected repositories and services receive the information required for actions you authorize.

Service providers and other disclosures

The workflow uses OpenAI for Codex, Apple for optional notifications, Tailscale for the private connection configured between your devices, and your Git hosting provider when you connect a repository. The website host processes requests to deliver and secure the site. Those providers have their own privacy practices. We may disclose information we actually hold to service providers helping us respond to support, as required by law, to protect legitimate rights and security, or in a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards.

How long information remains

Local notes, attachments, and history remain until you remove the relevant data. Archiving is not deletion. Removing the iPhone app does not remove the Mac database, Codex conversations, repository branches, pull requests, or backups. Those copies require separate action. Support communications are kept as needed to resolve the request, maintain necessary records, and meet legal obligations; we review retention rather than promising deletion from systems we do not control.

Your choices and rights

You can keep notes local without pairing, choose each item approved for AI, pause or stop work, disable notifications, and revoke paired-device access from the Mac. See Data controls for the scope of these actions and deletion assistance.

Depending on applicable law and your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we hold, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or appeal a request decision. Contact hello@swipebetter.ai. We may request proportionate information to verify your request. We do not discriminate for exercising applicable privacy rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and this website does not use targeted-advertising trackers.

European and UK visitors

Where applicable, we process information to deliver requested services, pursue legitimate interests such as security and support, comply with law, or act on your consent. You may withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing, and you may complain to your local data protection authority. Providers may process information outside your country. Any international transfer by us that is subject to legal restrictions must use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism. This policy does not claim that AgentBuggy has signed provider agreements or appointed representatives that have not been established.

Security and children

AgentBuggy uses authenticated connections and HTTPS for paired-device sync. Protect your Mac, phone, backups, connected accounts, and credentials. No system is perfectly secure. AgentBuggy is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information to us.
