Your Mac.
Ready to lend a hand.

Write notes on your iPhone. Let Codex work on your Mac when you give the go-ahead.

Download AgentBuggy for Mac

Version 0.1.0 (build 3, Apple silicon) · macOS 14 or later

On your iPhone right now?

Open agentbuggy.com/mac in the browser on your Mac to download the companion. Installing the iPhone app does not install the Mac app automatically.

A simple connection

  1. Install the Mac companion. Download the ZIP on your Mac, open it, and drag AgentBuggy into Applications. Then open AgentBuggy.
  2. Connect Codex. Follow the Codex CLI setup instructions on your Mac and sign in. Return to AgentBuggy and choose Check Codex again. For code fixes, choose the project folder you want to work on.
  3. Pair your iPhone. Install Tailscale for Mac and Tailscale for iPhone or iPad. Sign in to the same Tailscale account on both devices and connect them. In AgentBuggy on your Mac, choose Set up private connection. Then scan the pairing QR code shown on your Mac using Camera. Tap the link and confirm Connect in AgentBuggy.
  4. Write a note. Turn on the project's AI switch and tap OK for AI on the note. Review the result before anything ships.

No separate Mac subscription

The Mac companion is included at no additional charge. AgentBuggy’s iPhone app offers a 3-day trial for eligible new subscribers, then US$7.99/month or US$69.99/year. Codex access and charges are separate.

What you need

An Apple silicon Mac (M1 or later) with macOS 14 or later, an iPhone with iOS 17 or later, Codex access, and an internet connection. The current connection uses Tailscale on both devices. Your Mac must stay awake with AgentBuggy running while AI works. Any Codex plan or usage charges are separate.

You can keep writing notes before your Mac is connected. Connecting a Mac never approves your existing notes automatically.
